Hostel Mate app for iPhone and iPad

Hostel Mate is the only hostel app designed for hostel owners and hostel guests with the purpose: of enhancing the guest experience; boosting the hostel rating; and increasing hostel revenue. This is not a booking app; it is an app for guests already checked-in to a hostel.

The apps two main features are the hostel chat room and the hostel activities board.

Guests will select the hostel they are staying at from a drop-down menu and input the hostel provided password. Guests will be able to:
+ Quickly locate hostel details (address and directions) and hostel contact information (email, phone numbers, etc.)
+ Extend their stay through the hostels preferred reservation link
+ Discover all the hostel-sponsored activities and find details and directions for these activities
+ See all hostel recommended activities (museums, restaurants, etc.) plotted on an interactive map
+ Sign up for hostel activities
+ See how many other guests are signed up for particular events
+ Connect with other guests in the hostel chat room
+ See if other guests share similar interests or have similar travel plans (chat room profile feature)

Owners and staff will be able to edit their hostel tabs. With the app, staff can:
+ Provide guests with easy access to hostel details and contact information
+ Funnel guests to the preferred reservation site when guests plan to extend their stay
+ Advertise and promote hostel activities to guests by including numerous photos and details about the activities
+ Organize last minute hostel activities (game night, dinners, pub crawls, etc.) and even allow guests to sign up
+ Track which guests have signed up for certain activities
+ Offer guests an interactive and up-to-date map with recommendations plotted on the map. Get rid of that old paper map and save time at hostel reception.
+ Edit, add, and remove sign-up entries
+ Track and edit who has paid for activities
+ Send confirmation emails to guests attending activities
+ Stay up with technology and impress guests by clearly demonstrating all the hostel has to offer
+ Send out messages to all of the hostel guests with the hostel chat room feature
